Bushcraft Furniture Workshop


Learn to build using branches and saplings!


Service Description

During this 3 day workshop participants will learn: to use hand saws and other hand tools, lashing skills, teamwork, and follow directions to build tables, chairs, benches, and bushcraft hacks to enhance a camp site. During the day (9:00 am to 3:00 pm) we will also hike, play in the stream, and explore the woods of Yaleville Farm. We will have lunch together and learn to hang hammocks in the trees to enjoy a bit of quiet time before beginning the afternoon filled with building and enhancing the campsite. Participants will begin and end each day at the Blacksmith Pavilion on the farm property. Please be sure to bring every day: 1. Refillable water bottle 2. Hat 3. Change of clothes(incase we need to get wet in the stream) 4. Sunscreen and bug spray 5. Lunch and a small snack for the afternoon 6. Handsaw(if you already have one) with your name on it On the last day, parents, siblings, and other family members are welcome to join us at 2:00-3:30 at the enhanced campsite and enjoy a few slices of watermelon and try out the bushcraft furniture!!!
