Service Description

This week long day camp will be from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday July 13- Friday July 17th. Campers will be outdoors 90% of the day and be very active. We will meet every morning at the Blacksmith Pavilion at Yaleville Farm. We will return to the pavilion for pick up in the afternoon. Some activities during the week will include: hiking, building forts, using hand tools, learning about stream ecology, conducting stream and wildlife studies, completing a community service project, playing team building games, completing a low elements challenge course, and catching a lot of frogs and salamanders! We will usually have lunch between 11:30-12:30 and campers will have the use of a phone to "check in" with home if they wish. Everyday, campers will need to bring: lunch, a refillable water bottle, extra sneakers or water shoes, change of clothes their own bug spray and an "I'll try it" attitude!
